Please attention:
First of all, in the United States, a price list always shows prices WITHOUT sales taxes (added when billing), in Europe a price list must legally show prices "sales taxes INCLUDED". This means that VAT (value added taxes), duties and rights have to be added. VAT is more than 20%, ...
But even more important it is to understand that our prices in the European Union are based on the local, EU production, manipulation and marketing costs (and EURO). More over - for our basic products or ingredients, extra costs have to be added: sea freight, local duties, clearing, transportation, insurance, warehousing, etc.
As a result, cost price for our product in EUROPE is considerably higher than in the United States. Example given: wages in the EU are considerably more expensive.
Even if our EU costs rise with 2 - 3 % every year, we do our utmost to keep the retail prices for our products stable.
We cannot ship parcels directly from the US to European countries.
